Dr. Sandra Elston

Optometrist

Dr. Sandra Elston graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry, in 2000. She chose to do two externships in conjunction with the U.S. Military – first at Fort Lee, Virginia, then at Fort Hood, Texas, where she had the privilege and honor of examining and treating military personnel in a civilian capacity in eye clinics on both bases.

Dr. Elston has practiced in the DFW Metroplex for the entirety of her career.  Her primary focus has been on comprehensive eye care, disease prevention and detection, and contact lens services.  She takes an integrative approach to eye care and believes healthy eyes are an integral part of a person’s overall well-being.  She is passionate about taking care of her patients the way she would want to be treated.  It has been her lifelong dream to run her own optometry clinic where she can truly dedicate her skills to helping the people of her community.

Away from work Dr. Elston and her husband have thoroughly enjoyed raising their two children and have loved being a proud sports mama.  In addition to being an optometrist and mom, she enjoys crafting and is an avid do-it-yourselfer.
